Starting the actual painting process

We sanded the old stain off the cabinets down to it's original wood, and applied one coat of primer. Once that coat of primer was dried we used polish-grade sandpaper to sand the cabinets and drawers again. Doing so allows the second coat of primer to adhere to the cabinet better.
